Served two years on the Liquor Divisions Committee of Management and served a short period on the combined Liquor/Miscellaneous Joint Interim Committee of Management before resigning to accept an appointment to Joan Kirner's ( then Premier of Victoria) staff in 1993. Ten years as a member of the Bendigo Hospital's Board of Directors; Served on the Board's executive for three years including terms as Treasurer, Vice President and President; Life Governor, Bendigo Hospital; Member, Australian Liquor Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union.
