| A mainly pastoral seat in the southeast of South Australia. It is bounded by the Southern Ocean to the west, and the Victorian border to the east. Includes the coastal towns of Robe, Beachport and Kingston, and the rural centres of Naracoorte, Millicent, Bordertown and Penola. |

Origin
| Mackillop is named after Mother Mary McKillop (1842-1909), who founded the Institute of the Sisters of St Joseph in Penola in 1866. She was dedicated to helping the underpriveleged and needy, and was recently canonised as a Saint. |
