Location Brand covers the area from Rowley Road in the north the Peej Inlet in the south, and also includes Garden Island. The main towns include Kwinana, Mandurah and Rockingham.
   
Origin Brand was named after Sir David Brand (1912-79), Premier of Western Australia 1959-71, Member of Legislative Assembly, 1945-75. Brand was first proclaimed in 1984. The first election was held for the Division in 1984.
   
Products/Industries Heavy industry in the Kwinana industrial area, alumina refining, tourism and the naval base, HMAS Stirling, on Garden Island
