Location Isaacs covers an area on the eastern side of Port Phillip Bay from Cheltenham to Seaford then inland to Skye and Noble Park. The main suburbs include Cheltenham, Dandenong South, Edithvale, Keysborough, Lyndhurst, Mentone, Mordialloc, Noble Park, Parkdale, Patterson Lakes, Skye, Springvale South and Waterways.
   
Origin Isaacs was named after Sir Isaac Alfred Isaacs, Member of the House of Representatives 1901-1906, Chief Justice of the High Court and Governor-General of Australia 1931-36. Isaacs was first proclaimed in 1948. The first election was held for the Division in 1949.
